JAJPUR: As former Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik prepares for surgery in Mumbai, numerous party workers have expressed their wishes for his speedy recovery. He is scheduled to undergo an operation for cervical arthritis at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
BJD leader and former MLA Pranab Kumar Balabantray stated, “We have gathered here at the Hanuman Temple in Madhusudanpur, Jajpur District, alongside BJD party workers. As you know, our former Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik, is undergoing surgery in Mumbai. Just like yesterday, when people from every corner of Odisha came together in prayer for his rapid recovery, we, who are currently in Delhi and not in Bhubaneswar, have come to the Lord Jagannath Temple here. We lit a lamp and prayed for his surgery to go smoothly and for him to recover soon so that he can once again serve the people of Odisha, as he always has.”
He added, “Naveen Patnaik ji is a leader who believes that the true essence of politics is public service. For him, politics is a spiritual journey and a passion to serve the underprivileged. I believe there is no other leader like him in India. When his health is at stake, we feel deeply worried and have come to pray for his recovery.”
