Sangram Keshari Mohapatra Assumes Charge as WODC Chairman
Bhubaneswar: Sangram Keshari Mohapatra has formally taken charge as the Chairman (in‑charge) of the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC).
Already serving as the Revenue Commissioner of Northern Odisha, Mohapatra continues to oversee responsibilities for Southern Odisha, underscoring his wide administrative reach.
Upon joining, Mohapatra was warmly welcomed by officers and staff at the council headquarters.
He held discussions with officials on ongoing projects and emphasised the need for collective dedication to accelerate development in western Odisha.
Highlighting the council’s role in bridging regional aspirations with state priorities, Mohapatra assured that WODC will function in alignment with the Odisha government’s vision of a developed state.
He stressed people‑centric governance and pledged to strengthen the council’s efforts in addressing local needs.
