
Sacred Monday in Barbil: Bol Bom Seva Samiti Serves Devotion with 2,000 Plates of Prasad
Barbil (OT Webdesk)—On the final Monday of the holy month of Shravan, the ancient Shiva temple in Barbil witnessed a remarkable confluence of faith, service, and community spirit.
The youth-led Bol Bom Seva Samiti, based on Station Road, upheld its tradition of devotional service by organising a grand prasad distribution that touched the hearts of thousands.
In a gesture of pure devotion, the committee prepared a sumptuous offering of puri, sabji and kheer, which was lovingly served to over 2,000 devotees following the sacred jalabhishek ritual.
The temple premises were filled with chants, smiles and the aroma of sanctified food, as volunteers invited worshippers to partake in the meal with warmth and reverence.
This event was not just a religious observance—it stood as a testament to collective dedication and social harmony.
The Bol Bom Seva Samiti has been consistently active throughout the year, organising prasad distributions and spiritual programs during festivals such as Shivratri, Chhath Puja and other significant occasions.
