President Murmu Visits Puri Jagannath Temple Under Tight Security

Puri, Odisha: President Droupadi Murmu visited the sacred Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri on February 4, 2026, offering prayers at one of India’s most revered pilgrimage sites.

The President was accompanied by Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, and senior officials.

Elaborate security arrangements were put in place around the temple to ensure smooth proceedings during the high-profile visit.

Temple servitors and officials from the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) welcomed the dignitaries and facilitated the rituals.

The visit underscored the cultural and spiritual significance of the Jagannath Temple, which is part of the Char Dham pilgrimage circuit and attracts millions of devotees annually.
