Filmmaker Prasanth Varma’s Telugu movie HanuMan, starring Tejja Sajja, emerged as a blockbuster with its box office rampage. The movie received pan-India love and appreciation. It also set the bar high and elevated the expectations from its sequel Jai Hanuman. On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, Varma dropped a poster of the sequel and promised ‘a film to celebrate for a lifetime.’
HanuMan concluded with Lord Hanuman promising Lord Ram. The concluding scene was a mid-long shot that showed Lord Ram sitting on a huge rock and Lord Hanuman kneeling in front of him with his hand in Lord Ram’s hand as a gesture of promise. The new poster shows a close-up shot of Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman’s hand.
Varma shared the poster on social media, and the caption for the post read, “वचनं धर्मस्य रक्षणं” Wishing everyone a very Happy & Blessed #RamNavami On this sacred occasion and with the divine blessings of Lord Rama, this is my promise to all the audience across the globe to give you an experience like never before & a film to celebrate for a lifetime This is going to be a special one for all of us #JaiHanuman @ThePVCU” (sic)
The poster has filled excitement among movie lovers and netizens showered praise on the poster.
Well, though the makers haven’t shared any update on the sequel recently, fans are quite excited for Jai Hanuman. Earlier, reports were abuzz that Varma has plans to rope in a big Bollywood actor as Lord Hanuman. Meanwhile, reports also claimed that Tollywood biggies Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu are being considered for essaying the character of Lord Hanuman and Lord Ram, respectively. Moreover, speculations were rife that makers are in talks with KGF fame Rocking Star Yash for the role of Lord Hanuman. But, there is no official statement from the makers.
Undoubtedly, Varma won’t leave any stone unturned for Jai Hanuman to make it globally appealing. Hopefully, the makers will soon drop a major update on Jai Hanuman.
