Parimanik Darshan Begins at 2:30 PM, General Entry from 3:30 PM

The sacred Nabajaubana Darshan of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra is being observed today at the Shree Jagannath Temple.

This ritual marks the first public appearance of the deities in youthful form after the 15‑day Anasara period, ahead of the annual Rath Yatra.

According to the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), Parimanik Darshan for ticket holders begins at 2:30 PM, followed by general darshan for devotees from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

Entry arrangements have been streamlined: ticket holders will enter through the Dakshina Dwara (Southern Gate), while general devotees will proceed via the Singhadwara (Lion’s Gate).

To ensure smooth conduct, elaborate security measures have been put in place, including heavy police deployment, CCTV surveillance, and traffic regulation along Bada Danda (Grand Road).

The SJTA has appealed to devotees to cooperate with the guidelines for an orderly darshan.

The Nabajaubana ritual symbolises the rejuvenation of the deities after Snana Purnima and is considered spiritually auspicious, marking the final preparations for the grand Rath Yatra.
