
Old wall collapses at Cuttack railway station; no injuries reported: ECoR
Bhubaneswar, Aug 27 (UNI) Train services on Platforms 1 and 2 at Cuttack Railway Station were briefly affected this afternoon after an old wall collapsed onto the platform.
According to East Coast Railway (ECoR) sources, the incident occurred around 3:45 pm during station redevelopment work, despite adequate safety measures being in place.
The collapse temporarily hampered train movement on the two platforms. ECoR clarified that no injuries or casualties were reported in the accident.
Restoration work began immediately, and officials said the lines were expected to be cleared within 45 minutes.
