Odisha’s PragyaPāna Tableau to Shine at Republic Day Parade 2026 in Delhi

The Ministry of Defence has approved the proposal, placing Odisha among 17 states and union territories selected for this prestigious national event.
Inspired by the state’s rich artistic traditions, the tableau highlights Odisha’s cultural heritage and creative excellence.
Officials confirmed that the design reflects the state’s identity while contributing to India’s diverse cultural narrative.
The Ministry of Defence has directed the Chief Secretary to complete all preparations by January 19, 2026, ensuring Odisha’s tableau is ready for display during the parade on January 26, 2026.
The inclusion of the PragyaPāna tableau underscores Odisha’s growing recognition in national cultural showcases and reinforces its commitment to preserving and promoting traditional art forms.
