Odisha Works Department Launches CDMS 3.0 and e‑IB Portal to Boost Transparency and Efficiency

Bhubaneswar: In a major step towards strengthening e‑Governance, the Odisha Works Department has launched two digital platforms—Contractor Database Management System (CDMS) 3.0 and the e‑IB Portal.

The initiatives were formally unveiled by Works Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, marking a new phase in the state’s digital transformation drive.

CDMS 3.0, an upgraded version of the 2018 system, integrates workflow management, analytical dashboards, and MIS reports.

It stores contractor details, licenses, certificates, and performance records under a One PAN–One Licence framework.

With AI/ML and data analytics, the platform aims to curb corruption, enhance quality, and improve productivity.

Contractors benefit from real‑time tracking, profile updates, and notifications, while government departments gain faster decision‑making and efficient monitoring.

The e‑IB Portal digitises booking for PWD Inspection Bungalows in Bhubaneswar, Puri, and Konark. It replaces the manual system with online booking, cancellation, and real‑time availability checks.

The portal ensures transparency, accountability, and convenience for both government officials and the public.

Together, these initiatives highlight Odisha’s commitment to citizen‑centric governance and digital innovation, setting a benchmark for efficiency and transparency in public works management.
