
Odisha Vigilance Raids Boudh MVI’s Properties in Major DA Probe
(OT Webdesk)In a sweeping anti-corruption operation, Odisha Vigilance officials conducted simultaneous raids at six locations linked to Golap Chandra Hansdah, Motor Vehicle Inspector (MVI) of Boudh, over allegations of possessing disproportionate assets (DA).
The early morning operation, backed by search warrants from the Special Judge, Vigilance, Baripada, was executed by a team of four DSPs and seven Inspectors.
Properties under scrutiny include Hansdah’s residence in Baripada, his rented accommodation and office in Boudh, his paternal home in Gudidiha village, his daughter’s flat in Bhubaneswar, and a close associate’s house in Baripada.
The raids aim to uncover assets allegedly amassed beyond Hansdah’s known sources of income.
This action is part of Odisha Vigilance’s intensified crackdown on corrupt public officials.
