Odisha Govt Transfers Six IPS Officers in Major Reshuffle

Bhubaneswar, August 21: The Odisha Home Department has issued transfer orders for six senior IPS officers, marking a significant reshuffle in the state police administration.

According to Notification No. 30518/IPS, the following changes have been made:

• Himansu Kumar Lal has been appointed as IG of Police, Economic Offences Wing (EOW) & Special Task Force (STF), Bhubaneswar.
• Satyabrat Bhoi has been posted as IG of Police, Intelligence.
• Jai Narayan Pankaj has been assigned as IG of Police, Southern Range, Brahmapur.
• Niti Shekhar will serve as IG of Police (Provisioning), State Police Headquarters.
• Charan Singh Meena has been posted as DIG of Police, Northern Range, Sambalpur.
• Ashish Kumar Singh has been appointed as DIG of Police, Northern Central Range, Talcher, with additional charge as Principal, Police Training College, Angul.

The reshuffle is part of routine administrative measures aimed at strengthening law enforcement and improving efficiency across the state.
