Odisha Govt Transfers Eight DSPs Across Districts

Bhubaneswar, May 22: The Odisha Home Department has issued a notification announcing the transfer of eight Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) under the Odisha Police Service (OPS).

The reshuffle, detailed in order HOME-SPS-TRS-0003-2026-18050/SPS, involves new postings across multiple districts.

According to officials, the move is part of routine administrative restructuring aimed at strengthening law enforcement and ensuring effective policing across the state.

The transferred officers will assume their new responsibilities immediately, with the government emphasising that such changes are intended to enhance efficiency and maintain public order.

This latest reshuffle underscores the state’s ongoing efforts to streamline police administration and adapt to evolving law and order requirements.
