Odisha Extends Post-Matric Scholarship Deadline for 2025–26 | Apply by December 31
The ST & SC Development Department of Odisha has announced an extension of deadlines for the Post-Matric Scholarship scheme for the academic year 2025–26.
This move provides additional time for students from Scheduled Tribes (ST), Scheduled Castes (SC), Other Backward Classes/Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (OBC/SEBC), and Economically Backward Classes (EBC) to complete their applications.
The Post-Matric Scholarship aims to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder access to higher education. It covers tuition fees, maintenance allowances, and other approved academic expenses for students pursuing post-secondary and higher studies.
Eligible students are encouraged to apply or renew their scholarships through the Odisha State Scholarship Portal (scholarship.odisha.gov.in). Authorities have advised applicants to complete submissions early to avoid last-minute technical difficulties.
