Odisha CSR and Sustainability Conclave 2025 Inaugurated: Driving Inclusive Growth Through Technology and Energy
Bhubaneswar witnessed the inauguration of the two‑day Odisha CSR and Sustainability Conclave 2025 at the State Convention Hall, led by Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo.
Organized jointly by the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India, Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster (BCKIC), and the Odisha Energy Department, the conclave is themed “Inclusive Growth through Technology, Energy and CSR Advancement.”
The event aims to showcase CSR‑funded innovations, foster cross‑sector collaborations, and encourage robust monitoring of social impact programs through technology.
Addressing policymakers, corporates, NGOs, and startups, Singh Deo emphasised Odisha’s transformative energy journey and the role of CSR‑driven solutions in delivering affordable, adaptable technologies tailored to Indian realities.
Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja outlined the conclave’s mission to catalyse social change and strengthen partnerships. Distinguished speakers included Mizoram’s Health Minister P. Lalrinpuii, Maharashtra’s State Minister Meghana S. Bordikar, BIRAC Managing Director Dr Jitendra Kumar, and Odisha’s Principal Secretary for Energy Vishal Kumar Dev.
Key sessions featured a policymakers’ roundtable on enabling ecosystems, a startup showcase highlighting innovations for inclusion, and an industry leadership forum on green growth and corporate stewardship.
A special exhibition unveiled 50 groundbreaking innovations, underscoring Odisha’s push toward sustainable development and rural transformation.
The conclave represents a significant step in aligning CSR initiatives with technological innovation, paving the way for equitable growth in Odisha and beyond.
