Odisha Assembly to Hold All‑Party Meeting Ahead of Budget Session
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Legislative Assembly will convene an all‑party meeting on February 16, 2026, at 11:30 AM to prepare for the upcoming budget session for the financial year 2026–27.
The meeting, chaired by Speaker Surama Padhy, will bring together leaders across the political spectrum, including Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik, Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, Government Chief Whip Saroj Kumar Pradhan, Opposition Chief Whip Pramila Mallik, Congress Legislature Party Leader Ramachandra Kadam, BJP MLA Jaynarayan Mishra, and MLA Laxman Munda.
The agenda will focus on ensuring the smooth conduct of the budget session, fostering bipartisan cooperation, and addressing procedural matters to facilitate effective legislative deliberations.
The meeting is expected to set the tone for discussions on Odisha’s financial priorities and governance strategies in the year ahead.
