Odisha Achieves Record Voter Outreach in 10 Days

Odisha has set a new benchmark in electoral efficiency with its Special Intensive Revision (SIR) drive, reaching 2.70 crore voters in just 10 days.

The campaign has already completed 75% distribution of voter forms, a task that traditionally took months.

Booth Level Officers (BLOs) played a pivotal role, going door‑to‑door to ensure every eligible citizen received the necessary forms.

Their dedication, combined with strong public awareness campaigns, has made the voter list cleaner, updated, and more accurate.

The Chief Electoral Officer praised the achievement, highlighting the commitment of the election team and the cooperation of citizens.

Voters are encouraged to use this opportunity to add new names, correct details, or delete outdated entries.

Forms can be submitted through BLOs or online portals, and assistance is available via the national helpline 1950.

This milestone underscores Odisha’s commitment to transparent and inclusive elections, setting an example for the rest of the country.
