Mirzapur: The Movie Storms Box Office with ₹78.45 Crore in Two Days
Bhubaneswar, Sept 6: The much‑anticipated Mirzapur: The Movie has made a thunderous entry into theatres, raking in ₹78.45 crore worldwide within just two days of release.
Directed by Gurmeet Singh and penned by Puneet Krishna, the film brings the gritty world of Mirzapur from OTT screens to the big stage.
On Day 1, the film collected ₹25 crore, followed by an impressive ₹31 crore on Day 2, taking its India net total to ₹56.75 crore.
The gross domestic collection stands at ₹68.20 crore, with overseas earnings contributing another ₹6 crore.
The Hindi belt dominated Saturday’s numbers with ₹30.75 crore, while Telugu markets added ₹0.25 crore.
With this momentum, trade analysts predict the film will cross the coveted ₹100 crore mark by the weekend, cementing its place among Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters of 2026.
Starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, and Ravi Kishan, the film has successfully translated its OTT cult following into theatrical dominance.
