JEE Main 2026 Answer Key Out: Challenge Window Now Open
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 1 (Paper 1: B.E./B.Tech).
Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access the answer key, question papers, and recorded responses through the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in (jeemain.nta.nic.in in Bing).
NTA has also opened the objection window, allowing candidates to challenge any discrepancies in the provisional answer key. Each challenge requires a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question.
The window will remain open for a limited period, after which the final answer key will be published.
The final answer key and results for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 are expected to be announced on February 12, 2026.
Meanwhile, registration for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 has begun. The exams are scheduled for April 2 and April 9, 2026, and the last date to apply is February 25, 2026.
Candidates who appeared in Session 1 can use their existing application number and password to register for Session 2 and pay the required fees.
NTA has advised candidates to regularly check the official website for updates regarding objections, final answer keys, and results.
