Jajpur: Over 30 Fall Ill After Eating Contaminated Dahi Bara
More than 30 residents of Patapur village under Jayantara Panchayat in Dasarathpur block, Jajpur district, fell ill after consuming locally prepared Dahi Bara.
Among the affected were six children.
Within hours of eating the dish, villagers reported severe vomiting, diarrhoea, and other symptoms of food poisoning.
The patients were initially rushed to the Dasarathpur Community Health Centre.
Those in critical condition were later shifted to Jajpur District Headquarters Hospital for advanced treatment.
Health officials are monitoring the situation closely, while further updates on the condition of the patients are awaited.
