IPS Officer Anugu Shiva Maruthi Reddy Takes Charge as ADC to Odisha Governor
Bhubaneswar, Aug 25: IPS officer Anugu Shiva Maruthi Reddy has formally assumed charge as Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to Odisha Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati at Lok Bhavan.
The Governor personally welcomed Reddy during the ceremony, which was attended by senior officials including Commissioner-cum-Secretary Dr Roopa Roshan Sahoo.
Reddy previously served as Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of G. Udayagiri and succeeds IPS officer Ananya Awasthi, who earlier held the Police ADC role.
The Governor of Odisha is assisted by two ADCs—one from the Indian Navy and one from the Odisha Police.
While Lieutenant Harshita Deo currently serves as the Naval ADC, Reddy will now take over the Police ADC responsibilities.
ADCs play a crucial role in supporting the Governor during official functions, ceremonial events, and protocol duties, ensuring smooth coordination of Raj Bhavan’s daily operations.
