New Delhi, May 9, 2025(OT Webdesk)—The Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) has reassured citizens that fuel and LPG supplies remain uninterrupted despite escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.
In an official statement, IOCL confirmed that it has ample fuel stocks nationwide and that supply lines are operating smoothly, urging people to avoid panic buying.
Social media speculation had led to long queues at petrol pumps in several cities, with concerns rising after India launched Operation Sindoor—a military action targeting terror-linked sites in Pakistan.
However, IOCL has emphasised that logistical networks are functioning without disruption, ensuring fuel availability across its outlets.
“We request the public to remain calm and avoid unnecessary rush at fuel stations to help maintain seamless fuel access for all,” IOCL stated in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
Despite geopolitical uncertainties, the corporation maintains that there is no cause for alarm regarding fuel shortages.
