Bhubaneswar, (Orissa Today), May 31: A disturbing incident has unfolded in Bhubaneswar, where a bar dancer was discovered dead under suspicious circumstances. The victim, identified as Charu from Chandigarh, was found deceased in a closed house, her body soaked in blood, in Shiv Shakti Nagar under Pahala police station jurisdiction.
Charu, a young woman employed at a dance bar along Cuttack Road in Bhubaneswar, was among 25 other young women residing in the same building. The Commissionerate Police has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
Amidst the ongoing probe, initial suspicions suggest the possibility of suicide. Police are examining the victim’s phone records and social media activity for clues. The Pahala police station is actively conducting inquiries at the scene.
This incident follows another tragic occurrence on May 11, where a female dancer was found dead in Bhubaneswar. Her body was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan in her rented residence in Badagada village under the jurisdiction of Badagada Police Station.
