Flying Squad Checks Naveen Patnaik’s Chopper in Nuapada
Nuapada, November 4, 2025 — In a routine enforcement measure ahead of the upcoming elections, a flying squad deployed by the Election Commission inspected the helicopter of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik during his campaign visit to Nuapada district on Tuesday.
The inspection was conducted as part of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) protocols, which mandate strict surveillance of political campaign logistics to ensure transparency and prevent misuse of state or private resources.
Officials confirmed that the check was procedural and no irregularities were reported.
The Chief Minister was on a scheduled campaign trail in western Odisha, addressing public meetings and rallying support for his party’s candidates.
The flying squad’s inspection did not disrupt the itinerary, and Patnaik continued with his engagements as planned.
Election authorities have intensified monitoring across the state with multiple flying squads and static surveillance teams deployed to uphold the integrity of the electoral process.
