Bhubaneswar, July 28 (OT Webdesk)— Panic gripped residents of a three-storey building in Satya Vihar after a fire broke out early Monday morning. The building, home to several tenant families, saw swift evacuation as flames spread through one of the floors.
Firefighters from the Mancheswar unit responded promptly, successfully dousing the blaze before it could escalate. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported.
Preliminary investigations suggest the fire may have been caused by either an electrical short circuit or an unattended diya in a worship room. Authorities are conducting a formal inquiry to determine the exact cause and assess damages.
