EMRS Karanjia Wins 7 Medals at CBSE Cluster Championships 2026–27
Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) Karanjia has made a mark at the CBSE Cluster Championships 2026–27, clinching 2 Gold, 2 Silver, and 3 Bronze medals in athletics.
Competing against over 300 schools and 1,252 athletes from Odisha, West Bengal, and Chhattisgarh, the school’s athletes showcased exceptional talent and determination.
Star performer Jagyasmita Nayak (U‑14) bagged Gold in 400m and 600m, securing a berth at the CBSE National Athletics Meet in Patiala.
Pabitra Pingua (U‑19) added to the glory with Silver in 400m and Bronze in 200m, also qualifying for nationals.
Other medalists included Jagannath Jerai (Bronze, 1500m), Swagati Munda (Bronze, 800m), and the Under‑17 Girls 4×400m relay team (Silver).
Beyond athletics, EMRS Karanjia reached the Handball quarterfinals and secured 5th position in Yoga, underlining its all‑round sporting strength.
