Bhubaneswar, (Orissa Today), Aug 13: Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced on Tuesday that the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Subhadra Yojana, scheduled to launch on September 17, will be released soon.
Speaking at a press conference, Parida, who also leads the Women and Child Development department, revealed that the SOP is currently being finalized based on public feedback.
“The Subhadra Yojana aims to foster the holistic development of women,” Parida explained. “We envision this scheme as a roadmap for achieving economic independence for women and as a part of our ‘Lakhpati Didi’ initiative.”
The government is actively seeking input from people from various sectors to ensure the SOP is both effective and efficient in empowering women and enhancing their self-reliance. The Deputy CM emphasized that this inclusive approach will help tailor the scheme to better meet the needs of women across the state.
