Debendra Kumar Jena Appointed Consultant in Odisha Chief Secretary’s Office
Bhubaneswar, Feb 28, 2026: The Government of Odisha has appointed retired IAS officer Debendra Kumar Jena as Consultant in the Office of the Chief Secretary.
According to the official notification issued on February 26, Jena’s engagement will last for one year from the date of joining. He will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs 86,100.
The order was released by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department and signed by Additional Secretary Debasis Singh under the Governor’s authority.
Jena, who brings decades of administrative experience, is expected to play a key role in strengthening governance and ensuring effective coordination at the highest level of the state administration.
