CRUT Rolls Out Ama Bus Services for India–South Africa T20I

The Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) has announced dedicated Ama Bus services to facilitate smooth travel for cricket fans attending the India vs South Africa T20 International at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on December 9, 2025.

With thousands of spectators expected for the 7 pm clash, CRUT has introduced two exclusive match-day corridors from Bhubaneswar, operating every 20 minutes from 3:30 pm onward.

Route 1 will connect Baramunda BSABT to Barabati Stadium via Jaydev Vihar, KIIT Square, and Nandankanan, while Route 2 will run from Bhubaneswar Railway Station to the stadium via Vani Vihar, Rasulgarh, and CNBT. Fares are set at Rs 40 for non-AC one-way travel.

In addition, a dedicated AC shuttle service will operate between Cuttack Railway Station and Barabati Stadium from 4:00 pm, covering Sati Chaura Square, Judicial Academy, CNBT, and OMP Square, at a fare of Rs 20 per passenger.

Regular Mo Bus services will continue alongside the special routes, ensuring connectivity from key points such as Biju Patnaik International Airport, Sri Sri University, and Salepur.

Barabati Stadium has been upgraded with enhanced lighting and infrastructure, while security arrangements include 50 platoons of police, over 300 officers, and six designated parking zones.

The Odisha Cricket Association, in coordination with state authorities, has assured fans of an “error-free” match-day experience.
