CM Majhi’s 20th Grievance Hearing: Swift Action Promised

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi conducted his 20th public grievance hearing in Bhubaneswar, where nearly 1,000 registered complainants presented their issues.

The session focused on immediate redressal, with ministers and senior officials present to ensure quick resolutions.

A special help desk was set up for persons with disabilities, while many citizens sought financial and medical assistance.

Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari emphasised the government’s commitment to resolving cases promptly, particularly those involving illness and disability.

CM Majhi personally interacted with complainants and announced that over 600 grievances were received during this session.

He highlighted that 95% of grievances from previous hearings have already been resolved.

District Collectors have been directed to hold grievance hearings every Monday across blocks.

In a significant move, the government sanctioned medical aid worth Rs 14.5 lakh for 16 critically ill patients through a single-window system.

The initiative underscores the administration’s goal of giving citizens direct access to governance and expediting complaint resolution.
