CM Majhi Meets Key Union Ministers in Delhi, Pushes for Odisha’s Development Agenda

(OT Webdesk)Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi held a series of high-level meetings in the national capital today, engaging with Union ministers to advance the state’s development priorities.

In a courtesy call with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, CM Majhi discussed Centre-State coordination and ongoing developmental programs.

He later met Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Paatil, where he raised the long-standing Mahanadi water dispute and presented the ‘Vision Odisha 2036 | 2047’ roadmap, outlining the state’s strategic goals.

The Chief Minister also conferred with Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H.D. Kumaraswamy, focusing on industrial expansion, particularly the growth of Rourkela Steel Plant, and employment generation across Odisha.

During his visit, CM Majhi interacted with BJP MPs from Odisha, including Ananta Nayak, Sambit Patra, and Nabacharan Majhi.

Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi shared details of the meeting on social media, sparking political buzz back home.

These engagements signal Odisha’s proactive push for federal support and strategic partnerships to accelerate its development trajectory.
