CM Majhi Hails PM Modi’s Swedish Honour
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extended heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on being conferred Sweden’s prestigious Royal Order of the Polar Star, Degree Commander Grand Cross.
Majhi hailed the recognition as a testament to Modi’s visionary leadership and India’s growing global stature. “When India rises, the world recognises,” he remarked, underscoring the significance of the honour.
He further noted that the award reflects the strengthening ties between India and Sweden, highlighting the deepening friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
The Royal Order of the Polar Star is among Sweden’s highest distinctions, awarded to individuals who have made exceptional contributions, particularly in advancing bilateral relations.
