CBI court awards three-year jail to railway officer for housing loan forgery
Bhubaneswar, July 14 (UNI) A Special CBI Court in Bhubaneswar today sentenced a Station Superintendent in Operation Section to three-year rigorous imprisonment on the charge of fraudulently availing a housing loan from a nationalised bank by furnishing forged salary slips and an employer’s undertaking for the deduction of EMI.

Dash stands charged for commission of alleged offences U/s.471/420 of the IPC. Dash is sentenced to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment for a period of three years and pay a fine of Rs 3 lakh for commission of offence U/s.420 of IPC, and in default of payment of fine, the convict is further directed to undergo R.I. for a period of one year, the judgment ruled.
