Bhubaneswar is set to host the Second National Mediation Workshop on September 28, 2025, marking a significant moment in India’s legal and cultural landscape.
Odisha’s Law, Public Works, and Excise Minister, Prithviraj Harichandan, recently chaired a high-level meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan to review preparations for the prestigious event.
The workshop will welcome a distinguished array of guests, including ministers, judges, law secretaries, advocates general, and legal experts from across the country.
The focus is not only on advancing mediation practices but also on showcasing Odisha’s rich cultural heritage.
Minister Harichandan emphasised the importance of integrating cultural programs into the event, aiming to leave a lasting impression on attendees.
A handloom exhibition featuring traditional textiles and handicrafts is also planned, spotlighting Odisha’s artisanal excellence.
Senior officials from various departments—including Law, Police, Commerce & Transport, and the Bhubaneswar Airport Authority—attended the review meeting to ensure seamless logistics and hospitality.
The workshop is expected to foster dialogue, promote legal innovation, and position Odisha as a hub for mediation and cultural diplomacy.
