Patna, July 7 : Altogether 10 people were killed in lightning in various districts of Bihar in last 24 hours.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed his shock over killings in lightning in Bihar and directed the authorities to pay compensation of Rs 4 lakhs each to bereaved family members. He assured all support of the state government to family members of victims.
A total of ten people died in lightning in Bihar in last 24 hours. Two people died in Nalanda while one person each died in Vaishali, Bhagalpur, Saharsa, Rohtas, Saran, Jamui, Bhojpur and Gopalganj.
