Bhubaneswar (Orissa Today) Mar 26: The Odisha Vigilance Department recently carried out raids at ten properties connected to Surjyamani Pattajoshi, the Executive Officer of Jatani Municipality. Pattajoshi, who previously held the position of Executive Officer in Joda Municipality, is under investigation for allegedly owning assets beyond his legal income.
The raids were conducted in Bhubaneswar, Jatni, Berhampur, and Ganjam. Officials discovered Rs. 17 lakh in cash, 150 grams of gold, and multiple properties, along with valuable land and financial investments. Important documents related to his assets have been seized for further examination.
The operation involved a large team, including nine Deputy Superintendents of Police. Pattajoshi’s tenure in Joda Municipality is also being reviewed as part of the investigation. This case highlights ongoing efforts to address corruption and ensure accountability in public service. Further updates are awaited as the inquiry progresses
