Bhubaneswar,(Orissa Today) Jan 28 : Veteran leader and former Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Biswabhusan Harichandan, has been admitted to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar due to health complications.
According to his son, Prithviraj Harichandan, who serves as the Law and Excise Minister in Odisha, there are plans to transfer the ex-Governor to Hyderabad for advanced medical treatment.
Harichandan’s condition is being closely monitored by a dedicated team of doctors, and arrangements are underway to ensure his safe transfer to a specialized medical facility that can provide the necessary care.
As a senior BJP leader and former Odisha minister, Harichandan has made significant contributions to the political landscape over the years. He served as the Governor of Andhra Pradesh from 2019 to 2023, earning respect for his commitment to public service. His recent health issues have raised concerns among his supporters and well-wishers, who are hopeful for his swift recovery.
This is not the first time Harichandan has faced health challenges; he was hospitalized in September of the previous year for similar complications, further highlighting the need for continued medical attention.
