Veteran Criminal Radheshyam Namdeo Nabbed in Brajrajnagar Raid Subtitle: Operation Netra strikes gold as Jharsuguda police apprehend long-wanted offender Radhe

Jharsuguda, 20 September: In a decisive breakthrough under Operation Netra, the Orient Police on Saturday arrested notorious criminal Radheshyam Namdeo alias Radhe, ending a years-long reign of fear across Jharsuguda district.

Acting on the directives of SP G. Reddy Raghavendra, a special team raided Radhe’s hideout in Shastrinagar, Brajrajnagar, and seized a 24 cm steel knife allegedly used in multiple crimes.

Radhe, 38, originally from Chhattisgarh and residing in Jhupudipada, has been a persistent menace since 2006.

With over 30 cases registered against him—including charges of assault, extortion, armed robbery, and attempted murder—his arrest marks a significant relief for local residents. Several non-bailable warrants had been pending against him.

He has now been forwarded to court under Orient PS Case No. 35 dated 18.02.2024, booked under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code.
