Union Minister Vaishnaw to visit Odisha for slew of official programmes
Bhubaneshwar, Oct 31 (UNI) Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Union Minister of Railways, Information and Broadcasting and Electronics & Information Technology, will visit Bhubaneswar tomorrow for a series of official programmes, including the Ground-Breaking Ceremony of SiCSem (Semiconductor Fabrication Unit) at Info Valley.
The project is a major step towards strengthening India’s semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, in line with the vision of “Make in India” and “Digital India”.
Vaishnaw will also attend the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Railways and the Odisha Government at the State Secretariat.
The MoU aims to further enhance railway infrastructure and improve connectivity across the state.
Later, the Minister will visit Bhubaneswar Railway Station to review the ongoing redevelopment and modernisation works under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
The visit highlights the Government’s commitment to accelerating infrastructure growth, promoting industrial development, and improving passenger amenities in Odisha.
