Bhubaneswar,( Orissa Today) Jan 31: In a shocking incident, two youths were found dead under mysterious circumstances inside a house at Punjabi Colony under Kharavela Nagar police limits in Bhubaneswar on Friday morning.
According to sources, the deceased, who worked at the ‘Mo Pitha’ food outlet, had gone to sleep the previous night after preparing for a large order. When the owner knocked on their door in the morning, there was no response. Growing suspicious, his son entered the room through a backdoor and found both youths lying motionless on the floor. They were immediately rushed to Capital Hospital in an ambulance, but doctors declared them dead on arrival.
Police have sent the bodies for postmortem and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of death. Initial reports suggest no signs of forced entry or struggle, deepening the mystery.
In a separate incident earlier in the day, a man identified as Bhalua from Chhabaranga in Bhadrak district was found hanging inside a cooking gas shop in Atala, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. His feet were touching the ground, raising suspicions of foul play.
Pahal police have recovered the body and launched a probe to ascertain whether it was a case of suicide or murder.
