Twin Brothers from Odisha Shine with Identical JEE Main Scores
In a rare academic feat, Bhubaneswar-born twin brothers Mahroof Ahmad Khan and Masroor Ahmad Khan have secured identical scores in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026.
Both achieved 285 out of 300 marks, translating to an impressive 99.98th percentile.
The brothers, born on 7 May 2008, appeared in the same exam shift and remarkably ended up with the exact same score.
Their preparation journey took them to Kota, Rajasthan, where they enrolled in a reputed coaching institute.
Their mother, Dr. Zeenat Begum, a gynaecologist, made a significant sacrifice by leaving her government job three years ago to stay in Kota and support their education.
Looking ahead, the twins aspire to pursue Computer Science at IIT Bombay. Beyond academics, they share a common dream of becoming IAS officers, aiming to contribute to governance and public service.
This extraordinary achievement highlights not only their dedication but also the unwavering support of their family, making their success a proud moment for Odisha.
