Keonjhar (Orissa Today): A fatal road accident near TATA DAV School in Joda has led to the tragic deaths of four youths, leaving the community in shock and grief.
The incident occurred when two bikes carrying four individuals were involved in a severe collision, suspected to have been caused by an unknown heavy vehicle as well. Both the bike registration numbers are OD09G7620 & OD09AD5789.
According to initial reports, three of the youths lost their lives on the spot, while one was rushed to Tata Steel Hospital, Joda, in critical condition. The deceased have been identified as Gopal Munda, Tala Munda, and Kana Munda, all residents of Ganua village in Koida block, Sundargarh district. The critically injured youth is from Patabeda village.
Local sources suggest that the impact of the accident was devastating, with one victim crushed on the road and the bodies of two others lying nearby. Authorities are investigating the exact cause of the accident and working to identify any heavy vehicles involved in the collision.
