Mumbai, Nov 2: Amid swirling rumours about Bollywood actor Govinda’s alleged extramarital affair, his wife Sunita Ahuja has come forward with a bold and candid response.
In a recent podcast interview, Sunita addressed the speculation head-on, asserting that she refuses to believe any such claims unless she witnesses them herself.
“I don’t believe in news reports. I want to see the truth with my own eyes,” Sunita stated firmly, adding that she has repeatedly urged the media not to jump to conclusions without evidence. “Until I catch Govinda red-handed, I won’t believe these stories,” she emphasised.
The rumours, which allegedly involve a Marathi actress, have been circulating for weeks. Sunita dismissed them as baseless and inappropriate, especially at this stage in their lives. “Whether it’s a Marathi actress or someone else, this is not the age to be involved in such things,” she remarked.
Sunita also highlighted the importance of focusing on their family, particularly their daughter Tina’s upcoming wedding and son Yash’s career. “This is a time to support our children, not get distracted by gossip,” she said.
In a powerful closing statement, Sunita declared that if anything ever did happen, she would address it publicly and transparently. “When I speak, I will speak the truth. I won’t hide anything. And then I’ll ask people—do you think Govinda did the right thing?”
