Puri, — Renowned sand artist and Padma Shri awardee Sudarsan Pattnaik marked Teachers’ Day with a heartfelt tribute to India’s former President and eminent educationist, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
On the shores of Puri beach, Pattnaik sculpted a striking sand installation depicting Dr. Radhakrishnan’s likeness, drawing admiration from locals and tourists alike.
The artwork served as a visual homage to the values of education, mentorship, and intellectual legacy that Teachers’ Day celebrates across India.
“On this day, I bow to every teacher who guides and inspires us,” Pattnaik said, reflecting the spirit of gratitude that defines the occasion.
