Submission for NCET Applications to Close Tonight in Odisha

The deadline for submitting applications to the National Common Entrance Test (NCET‑2026) will end tonight at 11:50 pm.

The examination paves the way for admission into the four‑year Integrated B.Ed (ITEP) programme, set to begin from the 2026–27 academic session.

Odisha’s higher education department has announced that nearly 1,300 seats will be available across five universities and eight government colleges.

The NCET exam is scheduled for April 17, 2026, and admissions will be based on candidates’ scores.

After the results are declared, applicants can register through the SAM portal and select institutions according to their percentile.

A merit list will be prepared using NCET scores. Plus II students are eligible to apply, enabling them to complete both graduation and B.Ed within four years.

Meanwhile, the State Selection Board (SSB) will continue conducting separate entrance exams for two‑year B.Ed, M.Ed, and B.Ed courses for the 2026–27 academic year.
