Subhadra Yojana Funds to Be Released on January 22, 2026 for 4.57 Lakh Women in Odisha
The Odisha government has announced that financial assistance under the Subhadra Yojana will be disbursed on January 22, 2026, revising the earlier date of January 18.
Deputy Chief Minister and Women & Child Development Minister Pravati Parida confirmed the updated schedule.
A total of 4,57,681 women across the state will benefit from this release. Among them, 1,78,398 newly registered beneficiaries will receive their first instalment of Rs 5,000, while 2,55,265 women reinstated after verification will also be covered.
Additionally, 24,018 women included during grievance hearings will receive assistance.
The Subhadra Yojana provides Rs 10,000 annually to each eligible woman, disbursed in two instalments of Rs 5,000.
The scheme is designed to empower women financially, enhance their socio-economic security, and strengthen their independence.
Officials emphasised that the initiative is a step toward improving women’s safety, well-being, and financial resilience across Odisha.
