SSB Jawan Nabbed in Bhubaneswar Over Rs 40 Lakh Land Scam
Bhubaneswar police have arrested an SSB jawan, identified as Sachitra Senapati, in connection with a land fraud case worth 40 lakh.
The arrest was carried out by Sahidnagar police after a retired police officer lodged a complaint alleging that Senapati had duped him under the pretext of selling land.
According to investigators, Senapati promised to arrange land for the officer, but instead misappropriated the money.
His background in the security services, including a previous duty at Naveen Niwas, has drawn significant attention to the case.
Police have registered a case and are gathering evidence to determine the full extent of the fraud. Authorities have assured that strict legal action will follow once the inquiry is complete.
