Shock in Puri: Idols Stolen from Bali Kapileswar Temple
Puri: In a shocking incident, miscreants stole idols of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati along with the donation box from the Bali Kapileswar Temple in Puri late Monday night.
The theft was discovered early Tuesday morning when temple priests and sevayats opened the sanctum and found the idols missing. Devotees immediately informed locals, who then alerted the police.
Officers from Sadar Police Station rushed to the spot and began investigating the matter.
