Shilpa Shetty Offers Prayers at Puri Jagannath Temple with Family
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty visited the sacred Jagannath Temple in Puri on Wednesday, accompanied by her mother Sunanda Shetty, Akanksha Agrawal, Ravi Kumar, and other family members.
Entering through Baishi Pahacha under tight security, she was welcomed by her hereditary panda and temple officials.
Inside the sanctum, Shilpa offered prayers to the Chaturdha Vigraha on the Ratna Singhasan and also worshipped Goddess Mahalaxmi.
She spent over an hour in the temple, expressing her joy at being called to the shrine by “Mahaprabhu’s will.”
Calling the Jagannath Temple the greatest among the Char Dham pilgrimages, Shilpa said the divine experience left her overwhelmed.
A large crowd gathered near the Singhadwar to catch a glimpse of the actress, while the temple administration ensured smooth arrangements throughout her visit.
Her mother, Sunanda Shetty, had previously visited the temple for darshan, making this visit a continuation of the family’s spiritual connection with Puri.
