Mumbai, June 28(OT Webdesk): Shefali Jariwala, the vibrant performer who rose to fame with the 2002 chartbuster “Kaanta Laga,” passed away in Mumbai late Friday night. She was 42.

According to sources, her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, rushed her to a hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.

The cause of death remains undisclosed.

Jariwala captured national attention in the early 2000s, emerging as a cultural icon in India’s music video scene.

Her bold persona and memorable style in Kaanta Laga earned her instant stardom, leading to appearances in films like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004) and shows like Nach Baliye and Bigg Boss 13, where fans admired her grace, honesty, and quiet strength.
