Seven Sheep Die Mysteriously in Puri Village, Farmers Alarmed
Puri: Panic gripped Patharadhiha village under Delanga block after seven sheep belonging to farmer Gobinda Behera were found dead inside a cattle shed late Tuesday night.
The sudden deaths have sparked fear among villagers, who remain uncertain whether wild animals or miscreants were responsible.
Veterinary officials confirmed that the sheep suffered abdominal injuries. Delanga Block Veterinary Officer Prititosh Mahapatra directed Livestock Inspector Bijay Kumar Swain to conduct a detailed inquiry.
A preliminary investigation has been completed, with further examination underway to ascertain the exact cause.
